Dr. Ayesha Khan

Dr. Ayesha Khan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Akhter Hameed Khan Foundation and a public health specialist with 20 years of experience in policy and programme development, particularly in urban poverty reduction and participatory development. Her research focuses on women’s economic participation and reproductive health decision-making, with an emphasis on locally driven, sustainable enterprise and self-sufficiency models. She has previously served with the Ministry of Health and worked as a health and gender consultant with UN agencies.
